Life update <3

Hello my friends : )
I thought maybe it's time for a little touch base since it’s been a while since I’ve done any writing. Firstly, I have some very exciting news.. 

✧♡✧♡✧I’m currently the artist in residence at the Waterloo Clay and Glass Gallery. ✧♡✧♡✧

It feels so good to be back in a real ceramic studio. Don’t get me wrong, I love working in my bedroom/home studio but there's just something so special about being back in a real space dedicated to just clay. I only have two months (which will go by so quickly) and I have a lot on the agenda! I plan on revamping my entire portfolio while I’m here. Diving deep into my sculptural body of work and putting my functional work a bit more on the back burner. 

I’ll add a few photos of my older sculptural work and some sources that I was using as references. My work is heavily related to dreams and our wandering subconscious mind while also using old family photos for stylistic references.

I’m very excited to continue working on and dreaming up this body of work. I also plan on applying to the Outdoor art show with it. With some hard work, focus and a little bit of wishful thinking, this could be a real start to my career as a ceramic artist. Wish me luck <3
